PPT Presentation on GEOepc

Source Code

Pedigree specifies an architecture for the maintenance and exchange of electronic pedigree documents for use by pharmaceutical supply chain participants.
The goal of EPCIS is to enable disparate applications to leverage Electronic Product Code (EPC) data via EPC-related data sharing, both within and across enterprises.
The role of the ALE interface within the EPCglobal Network™ Architecture is to provide independence between the infrastructure components that acquire the raw EPC data, the architectural component(s) that filter & count that data, and the applications that use the data..

RFID Open Source

(Principal Investigator: Dr. Abel Sanchez)

The open source projects underway are:

EPCIS REST

The REST binding brings a new level of accesibility to the EPCIS data model. The REST paramaters match the SOAP/XML binding. Visit the "requests gallery".

EPCIS

The primary vehicle for data exchange between EPCglobal Subscribers in the EPCglobal Architecture Framework is EPC Information Services (EPCIS). EPCIS encompasses both interfaces for data exchange and specifications of the data itself. Walk the source code
Test an XPath binding over the EPCIS capture content. Visit the SimpleEventQuery and SimpleMasterDataQuery gateways.

ALE

The Application Level Events (ALE) standard specifies an interface through which clients may obtain filtered, consolidated Electronic Product Code™ (EPC) data from a variety of sources. Walk the source code

Object Naming Service (ONS)

The Domain Name System is used to locate authoritative metadata and services associated with the SGTIN portion of a given Electronic Product Code™ (EPC).

Tag Data Translation (TDT)

This EPC Tag Data Translation (TDT) specification is concerned with a machine-readable version of the EPC Tag Data Standards specification. The machine-readable version can be readily used for validating EPC formats as well as translating between the different levels of representation in a consistent way. This specification describes how to interpret the machine-readable version. It contains details of the structure and elements of the machine-readable markup files and provides guidance on how it might be used in automatic translation or validation software, whether standalone or embedded in other systems.

Pedigree

Pedigree specifies an architecture for the maintenance and exchange of electronic pedigree documents for use by pharmaceutical supply chain participants.  The architecture is targeted for use in complying with document-based pedigree laws. Walk the Pedigree Object Model

Low Level Reader Protocol (LLRP)

LLRP specifies an interface between RFID Readers and Clients.  The interface protocol is called low-level because it provides control of RFID air protocol operation timing and access to air protocol command parameters. The design of this interface recognizes that in some RFID systems, there is a requirement for explicit knowledge of RFID air protocols and the ability to control Readers that implement RFID air protocol communications.  It also recognizes that coupling control to the physical layers of an RFID infrastructure may be useful for the purpose of mitigating RFID interference.
